Android-Powered Mi TV 3S launched by Xiaomi

Xiaomi Mi TV 3S is the first curved TV from the Chinese company

Xiaomi, which is the biggest smartphone seller in China had earlier this month launched its latest flagship smartphone Mi 5 for $305.

For now, the TVs will be only available in the USA market and in a few months will be made available in countries including the USA and India, where Xiaomi has a strong user base.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 3S Curve as the name suggests comes with a 65-inch curved 4K resolution display and is powered by an Mstar 6A928 TV processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Chinese OEM has just introduced the new Mi TV 3S 43-inch and the Mi TV 3S Curve 65-inch.

Before this launch, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi TV 3 with 4K Display.

This variant also employs Dolby and DTS dual outputs. Such screens take advantage of our peripheral vision because they provide a wider field of view.

Xiaomi has also announced a 43-inch Mi TV in China. The FHD variant costs only CNY 1,799 which is about $278 in the US.

Apart from the new Mi TV 3S models, recently Xiaomi also had released the Mi TV 3 70-inch version having the 4K display that had been sold in the China market. The Xiaomi Mi TV 63-inch curved 4K TV has a price tag of $1380 while the 43-inch flat FHD TV has a price tag of $276. The TV also comes with the Mi TV bar which is already included in the price. The display is a Full HD one and is powered by an Mstar 6A908 processor.

The 65-inch Mi TV 3s is found out to be 5.9mm thin, which is actually thinner than the Mi Note whose dimension is 6.95mm. It runs on a 1.4GHz quadcore Mstar 6A928 processor with Mali 760 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
