LeEco's next flagship is rumoured to launch with 8GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. LeEco, the Chinese smartphone company had recently launched its flagship Le Max 2 with 6GB RAM in China and India.

The smartphone market is changing rapidly and it seems the competition is headed towards offering as much RAM as possible. The GizChina reports, LeEco is working on a new version of Le Max 2 which could come with 8GB of RAM.

The report claims the next version of Le Max 2 will be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. There are already reports suggesting a variant of Asus Zenfone 3 launching with Snapdragon 823 sometime soon.

While we haven't noticed a need for 6GB RAM yet, adding 8GB RAM could mean an overkill. If you base your smartphone buying decision on the amount of RAM then this LeEco rumour would sound exciting but if performance is any indicator then even 3GB RAM seems good enough for most needs.
