Android 7.0 Nougat Update for ZTE Axon 7 Release Date Revealed

We don't really care much about Chinese-made devices getting the platform updated but this is ZTE AXON 7, a model that boasts of high-end specs but with mid-range pricing and has since reached the United States last July in time for Summer.

Samsung, the world's largest smartphone marker, does not have any phones available on the market, which would run Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Except Nexus, Pixel mobiles and LG no other company has released the Android 7.0 Nougat update till date. There are speculations that OnePlus is going to release Android Nougat Update to the high end OnePlus 3 in December but we don't have an exact information about the OnePlus 3 Android 7.0 Nougat Update. The Android 7.0 Nougat update for the ZTE Axon 7 has been confirmed by the manufacturer's german branch on its official Twitter account. There's no telling exactly what ZTE will be putting inside its interpretation of Nougat yet. As you likely know if you're reading this, ZTE has been pushing a few updates lately, but the delayed rollout of Nougat is sure to disappoint more than a few folks. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of shooting in full HD resolution according to the listing. ZTE Axon 7 includes h ardware such as a 5.5-inch AMOLED display running at 1440 by 2560 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of integrated storage.

These are all the details revealed at GFXBench, but we suspect ZTE's Nougat-powered smartphone will make headlines again in the next couple of weeks. But expect a China launch soon.
