Samsung has refreshed its Galaxy J-series by launching two new Android smartphones, the Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) in China.
For shutterbugs, the smartphone comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera of aperture f/1.9 with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera of aperture f/1.9 with LED flash. Both the Galaxy J5 and J7 also come with NFC and Bluetooth, rounding up all the features a user may want in a smartphone.
The fact that Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is promoting the handset is a clear indication that the company maybe releasing a special version of the J3, or any other e phone from the Galaxy J line up. The phone also packs in 3300mAH battery. A 5MP camera is on back with a selfie snappin' 2MP camera on front of the device. Although a few millimeters shorter and narrower than the J7, it is still thicker at 8.1mm and comes in the same three color options.
Samsung's Galaxy J7 was one of the best-selling models in February, while sales of the Galaxy Note 5 still remained strong, said the sources.
Meanwhile, the new Samsung Galaxy J5 comes powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and it is backed by 2 GB of RAM. It has a 5.5-inch full HD display Super AMOLED display screen and measures 151.7 x 76 x 7.8mm. The phone measures 145.8×72.3×8.1mm and weighs 159 grams.
